The busy week has ended...

So our crazy week has finally ended, and I have to say it was a good week, busy, but good. Lots of cookies went out, and lots of marshmallows, confectionery sugar, sugar, butter, and flour was used this week. To start of this week was summer themed sugar cookies for our nephew's teacher's. We made them as beach balls, watermelons, flowers, and flip flops. We also made the best chocolate chip cookie ever!

Our next job was to make about 2 dozen beach ball cookies for our cousin's end of the year school party. For these we used fluff instead of marshmallows to make our fondant. It worked, but I have to say I wouldn't use fluff again for our fondant recipe.

We then had a order for 5 dozen cross cookies in the colors of pink and teal for a communion. These colors looked great together.

For fun we decided to make some cookies for my soon to be brother in laws bachelor party. We did them as bras, its just fit perfectly. These were fun to make! My sister piped the designs with chocolate icing.

Our last job for the week was our big one we made a horse themed cake and decorated cupcakes for our cousin's 6th birthday party. This cake has to be our favorite cake we've done so far. We made the cake with our yellow and chocolate pound cake recipe and covered it in butter cream and green fondant. We then piped water with pipping gel and added chocolate rocks and our gum paste flowers we created. For the cupcake we iced them in chocolate icing and pipped green butter cream on them to look like grass and add some of our flowers and rocks on top. To top it off we added little horses onto the cupcakes.
