Modeling Chocolate

Today I tested out how to make and use modeling chocolate since I know we will be using it soon enough on something. Have to say overall it tasted good and wasn't too hard to make. To make modeling chocolate (also known as chocolate plastic) you only need two simple ingredients, chocolate and light corn syrup.
To make you need to melt 1 lb. of chocolate until it's completely smooth then add 1/2 cup of the corn syrup. Stir it all together, until it forms a ball. Once its all mixed wrap plastic wrap around it and place in the fridge for a few hours or until firm.
Once firm bring it out and start to knead it so its can be pliable again. You will most likely need to dust the counter so nothing sticks to it. If your using white chocolate dust it with powdered sugar and dark or milk chocolate use cocoa powder.
You can then mold or cut out whatever shapes you need. I decided to make chocolate roses.
